Wow....quite a few things happen this wk...
first up was Hui Jun's bday at pastamania....(pastamania seems to be our second fav hangout after KFC lorz...n its were birthday surprises seems to happen..hahaz that time was barney...) the youths, onli3 of us actually...kinda sad but it was fun!!!got to see hui jun again, n the other adults too...seems quite long since we fellowship, the youths n adults...though last 2 times of fellowship got a few adults like Noel n eric...hahaz...when we sang the birthday song for hui jun, almost the whole pastamania sang along with us, otherwise clapped with us...even the workers there...they were also super friendly wishing huijun happy birthday n to invite us backnxt year...lol....but this is the kind of service that leaves a lasting impression n a good feeling after patronising them....leaves u feel warmhearted =)
that was mon....n now to tue....took part in the oversees scholars facilitation--makan paradise, goin to see some religious places in singapore n to taste great indian food n sweets =)..despite the rain, i think it was still quite fun overall...good exp ba...i had also had a good time talkin to the scholars...i learnt that we shouldnt take for granted the peace n efficiency we have in singapore...i was asked if it takes like 1 or 2 hours for the bus or mrt to arrive n i was like shocked...mrt takes an hour??? it comes like every 3-4 mins...at most 10-11 mins which actually doesnt come to that ultimately...but in places like m'sia...transport can take up alot of time to arrive...but for us, we are already so used to fast transport that after waiting for 10 -15mins, u'll hear ppl start complainin, includin me sad to say...frm east to west it juz takes an hour...indeed we shouldnt take for granted the things we have but start treasuring them, even if its juz the little details of like havin the post box near to where u live such that u need not go through the tedious work of finding a post office, or even that singapore transport system is so extensive....n its gettin more accessible with theupcomin circle line...n even that we are living in such a peaceful country...no doubt, there may be other places better, or more flourish, but still its where ur home is...nothin is perfect n its good enough to be contended with wat u have cuz u are so much betta off then alot of ppl...u juz dun noe it....
n after that programme...i had a f41 gathering, a bbq in the evenin...despite the rain, we still had good food n good fun =) its really good to see them again...n i realize that sec sch frens are so much more gu ding, so much more stable....after so long of not chatting with a few c10 mems, i was still able to talk to them ,tease them...even mr tan, ms sin...those friendships are harder to let go off as compared to the now, where most of them are hi-bye frens n really i dount have lots of common stuff to talk about, n u cant really be urself with them....i really hope that c10 will stay as good friends till eternity...
n now on to wed....went out with ckl for money spending....frm the $$$ we earned frm 3 days of work =) ...but at the end i onli bought a bag hahaz...but its still kinda fruitful cuz been wantin to get a bag since i dunno when..hahaz ...well we walked about bugis till its really gettin boring...its like where we go every time we go out...
n for today...early in the morning went to emmanuel house for operation omega briefing...was really comfortable there with all the air-con, cushions n stuff..hahaz n we were playing this european game set with nigeria falls as the theme...was really fun lorz...today was like a slacking time for us hahaz ...then i headed to the library to do my tut...hm...guess wat i slept there for like an hour larz...cuz woke up early in such a WONDERFUll weather n i was like deprived of sleep hahaz...then i started readin my notes so can do the tut...i read super slow n i didthe tut even slower..hahaz....but i'm left with 2 quest lor...n a pile more left...hahaz...but compared to not doin at all, i think i made some progress lol...then 430 supposedly to have bs...but shuzhen n the others cant make it...so i juz stayed in the library...but as my attention span was really short, i decided to find a book to read hahaz...as i was findin a book, the library blacked out!!!...i then took a book went back to my seat n the person opp me was ellin her fren that the whole of aljunied blacked out...n i think she said the erp too...wow...but the blacked out came like about the right time cuz i was really freezin in the library despite my jacket....hahaz...blessin in disguise....lol....then had dinner with 2 cupsof hot tea to warm myself lol!!! went home, did housework as my mum not in singapore n here i am writting an entry =)
i was askin myself why ppl write their thoughts in blogs where every1 can see?? do they really write wat they feel?? all their true thoughts, or juz those superficial ones?? all i ever write are really insignificant...n i doubt it will hurt anybody ba...but there are lots of other entries with anger directed at ppl, unsastifactions n words that may hurt others....i really hope i didnt post any entries like that though...
enough about my ramblings... not coherant anyway...juz writtin for the sack of it..
